-

While officials across Italy are scrambling to sell houses to foreigners for as low as one dollar and one euro each, CNN has reported that one particular Italian town is offering outsiders more than $10,000 just to move in. And then there’s yet another town that proudly announces that it will pay its new owners $1,000 per child to have kids. Giovanni Bruno Mattiet, who is the mayor of Locana village in Piedmont has reportedly offered to pay $10,200 over three years to families that are willing to take up permanent residency, but only on two conditions: they have a child and their yearly income should be at least $6,800.
