Election manifestoes of political parties must be turned into a legally-enforceable contract to maintain the sanctity of the promises made. In case any party fails to fulfill promises made in the manifesto, its recognition must be cancelled. In the absence of this provision, voters end up being fooled repeatedly, with little implementation of what was promised.
