Two minor brothers drown in canal in Panipat

KARNAL: Two minors brother are feared to have drowned in Delhi Parallel Canal in Panipat. The boys, identified as Abhishek, 12, and his brother Suraj, 9, had entered the canal on Saturday evening after spotting some coconuts floating in the water. But due to heavy flow of water, they drowned. Assandh Road police station in-charge Ramesh Kumar said divers were brought in for search operation.
