BJP’S FOLLY AS BIG AS NEHRU’S

This is with reference to BJP president Shah’s Chamba rally remarks ‘Will scrap Article 370 if BJP voted back to power’. Many BJP leaders are now promising to scrap Article 370 and 35-A if they come back to power, but what were they doing in their five years of rule. When the BJP came to power in 2014, it was hoped that with his mammoth mandate, Modi would go all out to do away with discriminatory Articles, which Jammu and Kashmir leaders are misusing. If J&K is an integral part of India, then why give preferential treatment to this state? It is time to call off the bluff of these ungrateful leaders. The BJP’s failure to scrap Article 370 and 35A is as much a folly as was that of Nehru who introduced them. Lal Singh
