Retired railway employee found dead in Y’nagar

A 72-year-old retired railway employee was found dead at his residence in Yamunanagar on Tuesday morning.

The deceased was identified as Nand Lal and his body was found lying near the bed of his room at his house in Jawahar Nagar colony.

Farakpur SHO Dinesh Chauhan said an unknown man had called up the police and informed that the old man was found dead at his home. “We found Nand Lal’s body with injury marks on his forehead lying near the bed in his room. His body was sent for postmortem to the local civil hospital. We can ascertain whether it was a natural death or murder only after the postmortem report comes.” HTC
