Naidu meets DMK trea­surer

Af­ter Te­lan­gana Rash­tra Samithi (TRS) chief and Te­lan­gana chief min­is­ter K Chan­drasekhar Rao (KCR), it was the turn of his Andhra Pradesh coun­ter­part and Tel­ugu De­sam Party (TDP) leader Chan­drababu Naidu to meet Dravida Mun­netra Kazhagam (DMK) on Tues­day. Although it wasn’t with the party chief MK Stalin, DMK’s trea­surer Du­raimu­ru­gan dropped in to his Am­rawati of­fice and called it a “pri­vate” visit. When Du­raimu­ru­gan came out af­ter the meet­ing, he re­fused to re­veal what had tran­spired. How­ever, the two chief min­is­ters have been on a meet­ing spree with lead­ers from the left, right and the Cen­tre. Chan­drababu Naidu is said to have al­ready ruled him­self out of any cen­tral po­si­tion race. But

KCR has put him­self out there, weigh­ing his op­tions on all sides.
