Congmen make a beeline for getting clicked with Gandhi

LUDHIANA: As he arrived on stage to address the public on his maiden visit in Mullanpur, Congress president Rahul Gandhi was greeted by loud cheers, bhangra beats and a live Punjabi duet song.

As he seated himself, an overzealous team of Ludhiana Congress office-bearers made a queue on the stage to shake hands and get a picture clicked with Gandhi.

For the next 15 minutes, Rahul shook hands and obliged everyone with a smile. A majority of them were thrilled to be meeting the Congress president for the first time.
