Barala to take feedback from party candidates

With a view to taking feedback on the recently held polls for the 10 Lok Sabha seats in Haryana, state BJP president Subhash Barala will chair a meeting of party’s senior officebear­ers as well as Lok Sabha candidates in Rohtak on May 20.

A decision in this regard was taken at a meeting held by chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar with his cabinet colleagues here on Wednesday, which was also attended by Barala, state social welfare and empowermen­t minister Krishan Kumar Bedi said.

Briefing mediaperso­ns, Bedi said that besides the senior leaders, the May 20 meeting will also be attended by election in-charges and conveners of 10 Lok Sabha seats. Bedi said that it was also decided to call a meeting of the party’s legislatur­e group on May 21 at CM’s residence here. The meeting will focus on various ongoing projects and announceme­nts of the government. The meeting, to be chaired by CM, will discuss ways to speed up various projects prior to the assembly polls scheduled later this year, he added. HTC
