Jakhar can be a game-changer for Punjab, says Bajwa

-

GURDASPUR: Punjab rural development and panchayat minister Tript Rajinder Singh Bajwa on Wednesday said Sunil Jakhar’s victory in the district will be a game-changer for Punjab as he could go on to become the CM.

Bajwa said should a non-Sikh become CM, it will represent Punjab’s composite culture.

He said both SAD and the BJP are communal outfits and do not make any bones about it . “The two parties have always banked upon exploiting voters’ religious sentiments.”

“It was the Congress that made Manmohan Singh PM and APJ Abdul Kalam president. Conversely, BJP has squeezed out all religious identities that it deems un-Indian from the political domain,” he said.
