Notice to former Rupnagar SSP for filing fake affidavit

CHANDIGARH : Punjab and Haryana high court issued notice to former Rupnagar senior superintendent of police (SSP) Swapan Sharma, along with three others for filing false affidavit before the high court in a contempt petition. Jasvir Singh, 52, of Jeowal village in Rupnagar had moved the HC seeking initiation of criminal proceedings against Swapan Sharma, posted as AIG counter Intelligence and others.
