Hungary passes law banning LGBT content for minors

BUDAPEST: Hungary passed legislation on Tuesday that prohibits sharing with minors any content portraying homosexuality or sex reassignment, which supporters said would help fight paedophilia but which human rights groups said was discriminatory. The law passed with 157 votes for and one vote against in the parliament controlled by PM Viktor Orban’s Fidesz Party.
