2 ‘scribes’ booked for threatening SMO

HOSHIARPUR : A case was registered against two ‘journalists’ for abusing and threatening a senior medical officer (SMO) and staff of the Hoshiarpur civil hospital. Health services remained suspended for nearly three hours as the hospital staff started a dharna in support of SMO Dr Swati. The SMO alleged that two persons, claiming to be journalists, misbehaved after they enquired about the electrical fault that had led to a power breakdown.
