Ex-CJI’s statement disappointing

The assertion by recently retired Chief Justice of India UU Lalit is disappointing. Holding the top judicial post in the nation, one has to remain impartial and should ensure the dignity of the judiciary above all. But by himself exhibiting his craving for the chairmanship of the National Human Rights Commission, Lokpal or any other commission, he has again raised a question mark on the independent working of the judiciary.
