GNDU deserves kudos for lifting MAKA trophy

The Guru Nanak Dev University deserves kudos for lifting the Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad Trophy for the academic year 2021-22, a record 24th time. The prestigious MAKA Trophy, as it is popularly known, was instituted in the academic year 1956-57, to commemorate the memory of Independent India’s first education minister, to be awarded to the university excelling in overall performance in sports.
