‘Work in progress to improve Batala’s water supply‘

CHANDIGARH: Local bodies minister Inderbir Singh Nijjar on Friday said funds worth Rs 13.9 crore are being spent to improve the water supply system in Batala town. He directed the officials of Punjab Water Supply and Sewerage Board to complete the project at earliest. Nijjar said seven new tube wells are being constructed under this project for Batala town.
