Agniveer: 26,000 candidates appear

CHANDIGARH: As many as 26,000 candidates appeared for Agniveer, 6,000 for nursing assistants and 1,000 for religious teacher in Jalandhar, a defence spokesperson said on Monday. The recruitment will continue till December 5. Agniveer recruitment is for five districts, Hoshiarpur, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar, Jalandhar, Kapurthala and Tarn Taran.
