Haryana appoints 2,075 teachers

CHANDIGARH : The Haryana government on Wednesday appointed 2,075 postgraduate teachers (PGTs) and trained graduate teachers (TGTs) on contract, 17 days after the candidates registered with Haryana Kaushal Rozgar Nigam Limited (HKRNL). These appointments have been made in schools where shortage of teachers was found after rationalisation. “Now, all contractual employees engaged under Outsourcing Policy-1 are being appointed through HKRNL,” an official spokesperson said, adding that the Haryana Public Service Commission had also advertised 3,863 PGT posts.
