Integrated medical research needed

Despite the advances in technology and drug research, modern medicine is yet to find a cure for disorders such as diabetes, hypertension, chronic gastrointestinal issues, neurological diseases and psychiatric illnesses, what to talk of the recent Covid-19 pandemic. Even the best invention of antibiotics or hormonal interception and other drugs for neurological or psychiatric medicines have side-effects. On the other hand, ayurveda and yoga offer procedures such as panchkarma for a healthy life. The need is to join hands with ayurveda scholars for managing lifestyle diseases. Integrated research may offer curative management of diseases.
