Seeks special economic package for Haryana

Haryana chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Friday sought special economic package from the Centre, saying at least 14 of the total 22 districts of the state are included in the National Capital Region (NCR). Speaking at a pre-budget consultation meeting that Union finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman held in Delhi, Khattar said Haryana should be given a special economic package as lots of resources have to be spent on the construction and maintenance of infrastructure in the NCR.
