‘Literature students have edge in journalism’

YAMUNANAGAR: Students of literature have a bright future in journalism as they have a good command on writing and speaking besides being keen observers. These views were shared by Yojana Yadav, senior news editor, Hindustan Times, Chandigarh, with students of Mukand Lal National College, Yamunanagar, during an extension lecture organised by its department of English on ‘Literature and Journalism.’ She highlighted the importance of the habit of reading newspapers. Head of the department Ritu Kumar Kamra and faculty member Sumita Kanwar addressed the gathering. Dr Rahul Khanna, officiating principal of the college, presented vote of thanks.
