Bains’ shocker!

A Facebook post by Harcharan Singh Bains, principal adviser to SAD president Sukhbir Singh Badal, caused a flutter in Akali circles last week. It read: “Without pay job/slavery, by clapping hands of a single man, and justifying his every good or bad deed - till today, my life’s autobiography is just like that. Now we want freedom from this tyrant (SIC)”.To everyone’s shock, Bains thereafter reached the party office and sat in a press conference addressed by senior leaders. On being questioned by his party colleagues, Bains gave a philosophical reply, saying that he wishes to liberate himself from the tyrant in him. He then also posted the same clarification on social media in Punjabi. Later, both posts were deleted.
