G20, godsend opportunity to showcase India

This is with reference to the article, At G20, time to take the India model to the world by Harsh Vardhan Shringla (HT, November 30). G20 is a godsend opportunity to showcase India as a unique nation whose culture and civilisation is one of the oldest and richest, suffused with messages of great leaders such as Buddha, Mahavira, Guru Nanak, and Mahatma Gandhi, for peace and universal brotherhood. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is good at portraying Indian philosophy and is already a known world figure, having met half of the world’s leaders during his tenure. India can play a great role of give and take in trade, as G20 covers two-thirds of the world with huge GDP and trade. India should strive on priority for world peace first, that would put her above all mighty powers in the world.
