Alia moves on after first flop film

Actor Alia Bhatt (above) is “disappointed” with the debacle of Shaandaar, but doesn’t believe in brooding over the past. The actor says she is trying to “move on”.

Alia, daughter of popular filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt, who stepped into Bollywood with the 2012 film Student of the Year, found success with all her films — Highway (2014), 2 States (2014) and Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania (2014). Vikas Bahl’s Shaandaar is her first movie which has failed to work.

When asked to comment on the cold response that it has generated, Alia said: “Of course, there is disappointment. It’s a first for me. I’ll take this in my stride and move on.”
