Siddharth feels humbled by fan love

Actor Siddharth Shukla doesn’t give a nod to every role that is offered to him. The actor is particular about the characters he portrays.

“The approval from the audience who give us so much support, is very important. I cannot disappoint them. So every time I’m offered a part, I try and find out more details about the character before saying yes to the role. Only when I’m convinced that I’ll be able to pull it off well, I sign on the dotted line,” says Siddharth, who was recently in the city to promote his upcoming show. The actor, known for shows such as Balika Vadhu, and Khatron Ke Khiladi, commands a sizeable female fan following. About this, Siddharth quips, “Where are they? I only get to romance beautiful women on screen but then why am I not getting them in real life? (Laughs) Well, on a serious note it makes me feel good. The day I decided to become an actor, I knew there’ll be people who’ll appreciate my work, but never thought I’ll get so much love and adulation.”

Siddharth feels ‘humbled’ by the love he receives from the audience and obliges them with photos. “I can never say no. It’s the least I can do for them.”

The love from the audience is a blessing to me. I feel humbled and honoured. So whenever anyone approaches me for photos and autographs I can’t say no SIDDHARTH SHUKLA, ACTOR
