Nina writes farewell note to Vampire Diaries fans

American actor Nina Dobrev (right) wrote an emotional goodbye on Instagram, to her show, Vampire Diaries. The popular American show will be heading for its finale soon.

The 28-year-old actor who essayed the role of Elena/Katherine on the supernatural-adventure series wrote, “Dearest TVD family, It feels like it was just yesterday that I was saying goodbye. And yet two years have passed and here we are again. This is my true final goodbye, as today I shot my last scene of the Vampire Diaries forever. Alongside, she posted a picture of the gift she had got custom made for the crew by The Giving Keys.

Hit by a wave of nostalgia and bittersweet endings, she hopes that their fans and followers will like the last episode.

“From the bottom of my heart, I send you my biggest thanks for the countless years of implicit dedication, passion, support, and undying love from all the fans that have stuck with us on this truly amazing and beautiful journey,” she writes further.

Dobrev ended her post with signing it as, “Love, Katherine, Amara, Tatia, and of course, Elena Gilbert,” with hashtags #TVDforever and #FangsForTheMemories.
