Nicole is amazing: Kravitz
Rock star Lenny Kravitz has gushed about his former girlfriend, actor Nicole Kidman. The 53year-old musician said that as with his other exes, he has managed to stay on amicable terms with Kidman, too.
“Nicole is amazing. I have stayed friends with my exes, in most cases,” Kravitz told the magazine, Mr Porter. Earlier this year, Kidman, 50, revealed that she had been engaged to the rocker when they dated for a year from 2002. Interestingly, Kravitz said that his daughter, Zoe, also got to reunite with his ex on the sets of Big Little Lies. While Kidman plays one of the main characters, Celeste Wright, on the show, the 29year-old Zoe Kravitz plays Bonnie Carlson.
“Zoe and [Nicole] hadn’t spent time together since she was younger, since Nicole and I were together, so that was great,” said Kravitz. Kidman had said earlier, in an interview, “I knew Zoe because I was engaged to her father. It’s all in the family! I love Lenny, he’s a great guy.”
Zoe said, “I hadn’t seen [Nicole] in a long time before Big Little Lies, but there was a point where we were all kind of living together. I was about 13, and she’d take me to see movies; she was so nice to me.”
Zoe is the daughter of Lenny Kravitz and actor Lisa Bonet.
Bonet is now the partner of actor Jason Momoa, who plays Aquaman in Justice League and in a standalone film. It was reported in May this year that Kidman had joined the cast of the Aquaman movie. That’s another way of Kidman being connected to Kravitz’s family. They dated between her divorce from actor Tom Cruise in 2000 and her marriage to singer Keith Urban in 2006.
