Arjun Bijlani started his journey on the small screen with the show Kartika, which also starred actor Jennifer Winget, among others. The actor followed it up with a series of successful shows. Looking back on his stint in showbiz, Arjun is satisfied with the kind of work he has done so far.

“The journey has been great. I have enjoyed every bit of it working on different kind of shows, exploring varied roles, and every time it’s a new team. I am thankful that people believed in me. I think, I still have a long way to go. Television has been kind to me. I also want to do well in films,” he says.

Arjun shares that his journey would not have been great had his family not supported him. However, he goes on to add that his father, late Sudarshan Bijlani, initially did not want him to become an actor. Arjun shares, “He was against me becoming an actor and rather wanted me to take care of the family business. But my dream was to face the camera. I am sure wherever he is today, he is giving his blessings. My mother (Shakti Bijlani) was always very supportive, my wife (Neha Swami) too has been there for me all the time.”

“Even my son (Ayaan), I think, enjoys what I do. When I look at them I just feel like working harder. They understand what my job requires when it comes to erratic schedules, which means I get to spend less time with them at times,” adds the actor.
