More appealing offers from south than Bollywood for Nidhhi Agerwal

- Shreya Mukherjee

Having started her career with Munna Michael that released last year, actor Nidhhi Agerwal was looking at doing films that are different from her first. The actor kept her options open and soon got two Telugu film offers.

While the shooting schedule for one of the Telugu movies, where she is paired alongside actor Naga Chaitanya, is over, she is now occupied with the second one, which stars Chaitanya’s half-brother, Akhil Akkineni.

When asked whether the offers she had been getting from Bollywood were not good enough, Nidhhi says, “Nothing like that but the offers were somewhat on the same lines as my first... Around that time, I started getting offers from down south. Since I am from Bangalore, I always wanted to work in the industry.”

Once she gets done with her second Telugu film, Nidhhi shares that she will begin to work on her second Hindi film. “The script is good. We are planning to start shooting from the end of this year or early next year. Right now, I won’t be able to talk about it. An announcement will be made soon,” she adds.

Nidhhi is keen on trying her hand at digital content, too. She says, “Online platforms are giving actors and directors good opportunities. If good offers come my way then I would love to be a part of a web series. I give importance to good roles and not to the platform. But right now, I am concentrating on films.”
