KEITH IS CALM AND CARING: ROCHELLE ON HUBBY

Rochelle Rao Sequeira talks about her desire to collaborate with hubby, his best and worst qualities

When two people together are creatively inclined and have alike mindsets, it always makes for a happy space. In the very similar case of telly couple Rochelle Rao Sequeira and Keith Sequeira, both of them being part of showbiz helps them understand each other better.

“The biggest advantage is the fact that we are each other’s worst critics. We watch each other’s works and discuss where we went wrong and the parts that were good. It’s more like learning. Otherwise, your friends and family love you so much to hurt you with their honest comments and they’d mostly tell you good things, only,” says Rochelle, adding that being in the same profession, they are also “able to understand each other’s erratic work schedule and plan things accordingly.”

Rochelle says she would love to collaborate with Keith for a show. “That way, we will be able to spend more time together,” she laughs, before revealing, “We have even met a few people and discussed working together, but nothing has worked out as of now.”

The couple tied the knot in March 2018. When quizzed about that one habit of Keith that Rochelle likes, she says, “He is very calm and patient. Come what may, he never loses his cool.” On the one thing that she doesn’t like, Rochelle says, “That he is not confrontational at all.”
