When I’m working on a foreign series, I give it my super best: Anupam Kher
After the success of American TV series New Amsterdam, Anupam Kher will now feature in the second season of the medical drama. Besides, the British production, The Boy With the Topknot, that the actor is part of has also been nominated at a coveted award ceremony. Moreover, his upcoming film Hotel Mumbai is also getting good reviews in international film festivals. Anupam Kher, who has starred in numerous American and British projects over the years, is only raising the bar with an interesting line up of international projects.
The Silver Linings Playbook (2012) actor says, “Firstly, I am so happy and excited to announce the second season of New Amsterdam to all those who have appreciated and blessed us with their love and support. It was a great experience shooting for the show with the brilliant cast and crew.” Talking about focusing more on offers from foreign productions, Kher adds, “Whenever I am doing an international film or series, in my mind I feel I am officially representing my country, and I have to give [it] my super best. I feel a sense of extra responsibility.”
