Ariana Grande not attending Grammys ’19

Singer Ariana Grande has opted out of attending the 2019 Grammys. According to Variety, the 25year-old singer felt ‘insulted’ after producers refused to let her perform her latest song 7 Rings at the award ceremony.

The source tells Variety that Grande and the producers had a settlement where 7 Rings would be a part of the medley, but the singer pulled out after the producers insisted that the second song would be the one of their choice.

The source adds that such restrictions were not imposed on other performers.

Grande has been nominated for the best pop solo performance for her song God is a Woman (2018), and the best pop vocal album for Sweetener (2018), at the 2019 Grammys.
