In the wake of the terror attack in Pulwama, Indian artistes say cultural aspects can’t be kept away from heinous acts

The dastardly terrorist attack on security forces in Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Thursday — that left at least 38 CRPF jawans dead and many others injured — has shaken the nation. While the incident has been condemned globally, talks have also been rife that the Indian film industry should cut off all ties including art and cultural ties with Pakistan. We talk to industry members to get their reaction on the same.

Earlier, if I had an opinion, I’d share it with whoever was [there] next to me. Now, I have five million people on social media to tell it to. It’s just that the scale of the audience has changed but my opinionate­d nature has not. There’s nothing wrong with it.
