Anu­pam Kher gets hon­oured at a Bos­ton sum­mit

Ac­tor Anu­pam Kher was re­cently hon­oured with the Dis­tin­guished Fel­low Award by In­dia Global, at the third In­dia Global Sum­mit. The event was held at the MIT Sloan School of Man­age­ment in Bos­ton, USA, on Satur­day. Kher de­liv­ered his con­fer­ment speech in the pres­ence of stal­warts from dif­fer­ent walks of life.

A source tells us, “This is yet an­other achieve­ment for the ac­tor, who has rep­re­sented In­dia on a global plat­form through his work. Hav­ing worked with the likes of Robert De Niro, Woody Allen, Ang Lee and David O Rus­sell, Anu­pam Kher is cur­rently in New York, US, shoot­ing for his in­ter­na­tional TV show.”

When con­tacted Kher, he says, “It’s with great hon­our and pride that I ac­cept the Dis­tin­guished Fel­low award by In­dia Global at MIT in Bos­ton. I’m grate­ful to In­dia Global for recog­nis­ing my work. I will con­tinue to rep­re­sent our great na­tion through my good work.”

In­dian di­as­pora is among the big­gest di­as­po­ras in the world and the sum­mit served as a plat­form for an as­sem­bly of like-minded and ac­tionori­ented in­di­vid­u­als work­ing to­wards bring­ing pos­i­tive change in the lives of In­di­ans.
