When it comes to portraying characters hailing or inspired from the north of India, actor Ayushmann Khurrana is possibly one of the few actors who seems to have mastered the art. And for his next film, Dream Girl, the actor is again headed north, and this time, it is Mathura, to be specific. The film is set to go on floor from today, in Mathura, a city that Ayushmann has never shot in or visited before. And the actor is experimenting with a hilarious subject. Talking about the film, he says, “I have heard such amazing things about the city that I just can’t wait to explore and soak it in. Dream Girl is again a script that I loved from the word go.”

Ayushmann shared the news of his next project with everyone in a rather quirky manner with a video on social media. Confident that he would once again strike the right chord with the audience, the Badhaai Ho actor, says, “It is an out and out entertainer and I’m sure that the audience will love this hilarious comedy. I always love doing films that entertain people across the country and Dream Girl is a script that bowled me over. It’s quirky, hilarious and a content film that has a brilliant potential.”

To be directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa, parts of the film will also be shot in Delhi. And Nushrat Bharucha will be seen sharing the screen space with Ayushamann for the first time.
