Why Tinaa Dattaa has been choosy with her projects

Hindustan Times (Ranchi) - Live - - Entertainment - Yashika Mathur

Actor Tinaa Dattaa made a big debut on the small screen with the show Uttaran, which was quite a hit among the masses and was on air for seven years. However, after that, the actor was missing from action for almost two years, before taking up another daily soap, Shani.

“I am choosy about work as I am particular about the storyline, the role and also the production house I work with. I somewhere believe that a good production house makes [help build] brands and actors. So, I have been particular about it,” shares Tinaa, who will now be seen in a show based on supernatural elements.

The actor informs that a lot of other shows and roles, including negative and cameo appearances, had been offered to her but she would “rather sit at home” than do a project that she is not content with.

Tinaa doesn’t regret that Uttaran’s long run on TV did stereotype her as an actor. But, to break that image, she went on to participate in the reality show, Khatron Ke Khiladi. However, she is quick to assert that whenever she takes up a project, she gives it her full attention.
