ANIL SURI DIES OF COVID-19

Bollywood producer Anil Suri, 77, who has backed films such as Karmayogi (1978) and Raaj Tilak (1984), passed away due to Covid-19 on Thursday. His brother, producer Rajiv Suri, said he had fever on June 2 and developed breathlessness the next day. “He was rushed to top hospitals...but both denied him a bed,” Rajiv claimed, adding, “He was then taken to Advanced Multispeciality Hospital on Wednesday night. He had Covid-19. On Thursday evening, they said something is amiss and he was put on ventilator. He died around 7pm.” Besides Rajiv, Anil is survived by his wife and two children.
