‘ATE EIGHT HRS BEFORE HER DEATH’

JAMSHEDPUR :Octogenarian Biren Diggi, who allegedly died from hunger at Gutusai Tollah in Porahat village, under Sonua block of West Singhbhum district, had eaten about eight hours before she died at 4am on Friday, according to an inquiry report by the district deputy commissioner.

The report, received by the state food and public distribution department on Monday, added that the woman had been sick for the past 14 days, suffering from ailments.
