GOVT TO BEAR COST OF KIDS’ TREATMENT: CM

Chairing a meeting amid the mounting death toll due to acute encephalitis syndrome (AES) and heat wave in the state, CM Nitish Kumar Monday announced the government would bear the cost of treatment and also reimburse transport charges incurred in ferrying patients referred by primary health centres. Chief secretary Deepak Kumar said all schools and coaching institutes has been asked remained shut till June 24 in view of heat wave.
