AGRA: It was a birthday that this three-year-old is not likely to forget easily.

Answering a knock on the door, Shiva was greeted by a posse of policemen, cake and gifts in hand.

Shiva and his sister, Ayushi (8) used to frequent the area where the Basai police outpost was located and used to often talk to outpost in-charge Manoj Bhati.

On Thursday, both Shiva and Ayushi were at the Basai police outpost and during conversation told Bhati that it was Shiva’s birthday. The children returned as usual but the outpost in-charge had plans.

In the evening, Bhati, Tajganj police station in-charge Anuj Kumar and Sadar circle officer Vikas Jaiswal reached Shiva’s hutment in Kalal Kheria, near the Basai police outpost, under Tajganj
