FOUR OF A FAMILY FOUND DEAD IN AGRA, NO CLUES

AGRA : Four members of a family were found dead under mysterious circumstan­ces at their house in Kuncha Sadhuram locality of Agra city on Thursday morning, police said. The deceased were a 35-year-old divorcee identified as Rekha Rathore and her three children Tuktuk (12), Paras (10) and Mahi (8), said additional director general (ADG), Agra zone, Rajeev Krishna who rushed to the spot after getting the news.

“Initial investigat­ion has revealed that the woman and her three children were killed by some sharp-edged weapon. Forensic department has been asked to collect evidence ,” he added. Meanwhile, the bodies were sent for a post-mortem examinatio­n.

“Kotwali police station was informed on Thursday morning by the neighbours of the deceased. They told the police that the door of the house was lying open. On reaching the spot, the police found four dead bodies, including that of the woman and her three children,” Krishna added. “Rekha Rathore, who divorced her husband two years ago, had been living here for last 7 to 8 years,” he said. The household items were found scattered in the house while an almirah was lying open. The bodies of two children were on a bed while those of the woman and her third child were lying on the floor in the room, the ADG added. The police were questionin­g the deceased woman’s exhusband Sunil Rathore.
