India draw 1-1 with Nepal in friendly

KATHMANDU: The Indian men’s football team played out a 1-1 draw against Nepal in an international friendly on Thursday with substitute Anirudh Thapa finding the equaliser after the hosts grabbed the lead. Thapa scored for the visitors in the 60th minute after Anjan Bista gave the home team the lead in the 36th minute. The two sides will be in action once again on Sunday in the second international friendly at the same venue.
