Prashant Kishor slams Nitish model

BETTIAH: Political strategist Prashant Kishor on Sunday lashed out at CM Nitish Kumar saying his model has punched hole into people’s pocket and deprived them from their right to cheaper fuel mere because of liquor prohibition in Bihar. Kishor, while addressing a public meeting in Sataha village in East Champaran, said that due to liquor ban in Bihar, Kumar is charging ₹ 9 per litre more for diesel from the people of Bihar. “Modi ji charges ₹ 100 for petrol, but in Bihar you have to pay ₹ 13 per litre more. On which Nitish ji argues that due to ban, these increased prices are affecting the public and that too when home delivery of liquor is taking place in Bihar.”
