BIHAR GIRL RESCUED FROM RAJASTHAN

SASARAM: A 21-year-old girl from a village in Rohtas district of Bihar has been rescued from Rajasthan, where she was allegedly trafficked and forcibly married to a middle-aged man, police said on Friday.

According to police, the girl was recovered from a village Sikar district. Kalu Ram Sharma, the man she was forcibly married to, has also ben arrested, police said. “Two persons from Rohtas, who lured the girl and took her to Rajasthan, have also been arrested,” SP Ashish Bharti said on Friday.

The girl went missing in July and her mother had filed a kidnapping case with local police.
