Progress in 10 yrs of Modi regime in India incomparable: Singh
DHANBAD: Defence minister Rajnath Singh on Friday attended two different programmes in the Santhal Pargana region of Dhanbad, including one in Dumka and another in Godda district, where he extolled the achievements of the Union government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
He said that India has become the fifth largest economy in the world by jumping from the eleventh position due to the efficient leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Addressing a public rally in Yagya Maidan of Dumka in support of BJP candidate from the Dumka parliamentary constituency, Sita Soren, in the presence of other senior leaders of the party, including the state president, Babulal Marandi, Singh said, “The pace at which our country is making progress will lead us to become the third most powerful economy in the world after the US & China. The progress made by the country in the short span of 10 years under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is just incomparable.”
“It was only because of the charismatic leadership of the Prime Minister that the Covid-19 crisis was managed, and the countrymen applied three vaccines for protection against Covid-19,” claimed Singh.
“Our detractors are mislead
ing innocent tribal people that the reservation benefits will be withdrawn when the BJP comes into power again, but the people here will not get distracted from such false propaganda as our party has always stood for the rights of tribal people who have a great contribution to our freedom struggle,” said Singh.
He also targeted the Congress party and said corruption prevailed from top to bottom during every tenure of the party.
“While any form of corruption is not allowed in our government, and when a leader is spotted for their involvement in corrupt practices, they are directly sent to jail.”
He also raked up the issue of the recovery of cash worth ₹35.23 crore from the house of the servant of the personal secretary of Jharkhand minister Alamgir Alam.
