Celebrations ramp up this Eid with Race 3
Maarking the festival of Eid, Salman Khanstarrer Race 3 hits theatres today. According to the makers, the film promises to be a festive bonanza, as it has the right dose of action, drama, chartbuster music and suspense that will keep on the edge of your seats. Here are five reasons to not miss the movie:
3D – A VISUAL TREAT
The action entertainer promises to be a visual treat this Eid, as it is not only Salman’s first 3D film, but also the first Bollywood action film to release in 3D.
HIGH OCTANE ACTION
Salman will be seen doing some daredevil action sequences with rifles and guns. The actor will also perform a car chase sequence in the film. There are also action sequences by other actors, and most of the stunts have been done without body doubles. The stunts have been shot across Floating Market and Rose Garden in Bangkok, Thailand as well as in the jungles of the country’s Kanchanaburi province. Over the years, the Race franchise has delivered foottapping music, and the third instalment ups the ante with its tracks. A source reveals, “While ‘Heeriye’ is fast emerging as the party song of the season, ‘Selfish’ is growing on the masses. Moreover, the intensity of the song ‘Allah Duhai Hai’ adds to the intrigue.”
Race 3 boasts of a powerful cast featuring Salman, Anil Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez, Bobby Deol, Daisy Shah, Saqib Saleem and Freddy Daruwala.
A source reveals, “The film has action, romance and chartbusters — making it a festive bonanza.” The tagline ‘You don’t need enemies when you have a family’, makes the film perfect for families. Talking about it, producer Ramesh Taurani says, “An Eid release for Salman Khan fans is anyway a big event and a celebration. It only gets bigger with the Race franchise returning on this day. We are very excited to present this film on such a special day.” Directed by Remo D’souza, Race 3 hits the screens today.
