So, what is the meaning of Lashtam Pashtam?
It’s everywhere, isn’t it? On the ride home in the metro, on Facebook and on Instagram, and on the radio and even the streets. We’ve all heard and seen it, but none of us know what this means. What on earth is Lashtam Pashtam? Come to think of it, it’s got a ring to it- Lashtam Pashtam; like the start of a children’s rhyme. Folksy, funny but not quite clear what it means- Lashtam Pashtam seems to be everywhere. It could be so many things. Like if you have a fight with your boss at the office, you can say, “Yaar aaj office mein kuch Lashtam Pashtam ho gaya.” Or if your girlfriend or boyfriend has caught you doing something you weren’t supposed to; you might think it’s Lashtam Pashtam at work! It could also mean that a new sarcastic poem is going to soon hit our indifferent municipal authorities and local politicians, while potholes kill and hurt people, and buildings topple for no obvious reason. Everyone’s keen to find out what this is and the local Manav Bhalla,
The name has a ring to it, like a colloquial term but it’s quite tough to guess its meaning. Watch this space as we roll out more Lashtam Pashtam in the coming days
RJS have begun investigating too. Manav Bhalla, the brain behind this marketing campaign said, “For us, creating curiosity around ‘Lashtam Pashtam’ was the key. The name has a ring to it, like a colloquial term but it’s quite tough to guess its meaning. We’ve made this a multimedia campaign to get people engaged with our project and are getting a great response to our campaign. Watch this space as we roll out more Lashtam Pashtam in the coming days!”
