Coun­try’s ace restau­ran­teurs, chefs, hos­pi­tal­ity vet­er­ans, and food en­trepreneurs will come to­gether in Mum­bai to wit­ness the un­veil­ing of India’s top 50 restau­rants, for the se­cond edi­tion of Condé Nast Trav­eller and Hi­malayan Sparkling India’s Top Restau­rant Awards to­day. The restau­rants were voted for by a jury of more than 100 em­i­nent tastemak­ers span­ning from across var­i­ous fields. The jury com­prised food con­nois­seurs such as ac­tors Sonam K Ahuja, Rahul Bose, and Malaika Arora, as well as oth­ers like fash­ion de­signer Wen­dell Ro­dricks, pho­tog­ra­pher Atul Kas­bekar, au­thor Maria Goretti, etc. Talking about the se­cond edi­tion of the awards, Divia Thani, ed­i­tor, Condé Nast Trav­eller India, says, “We had an amaz­ing re­sponse to the Top Restau­rant Awards last year. This year, the re­sults are even more ex­cit­ing — we have one city that has more restau­rants than any other by a big mar­gin; and smaller towns as well.
