Seema-sohail file for divorce after 24 years of marriage
Actor Sohail Khan and his wife, fashion designer Seema Khan filed for divorce on Friday. The two were spotted separately by the paparazzi outside the family court in Mumbai.
Etimes quoted a source from the family court: “Sohail Khan and Seema Sachdev were present in the court today. They have filed for a divorce. Both were friendly towards each other.”
The duo, who tied the knot in 1998 and are parents to two boys Nirvaan and Yohan, has not released any official statement about the divorce. Rumours about their separation have been rife since 2017. Even in the web series, The Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives, it was shown that the couple lived separately and their kids were shuttling between the two houses.
On the same show, Seema called her marriage with Sohail unconventional. “It’s just that sometimes when you grow older, your relationship meanders and goes into different directions. I make no apologies about it because we are happy... Sohail and I are not a conventional marriage, but we are a family. We are a unit. For us, him and me and our children matter at the end of the day,” she had said.
