Paralympic committee holds a run for a cause
NEW DELHI: Over 5,000 school children and para-athletes participated at the 3km run held at the Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium here on Sunday to mark the International Day of Sports for Development as Change Makers. The event — organised by the Paralympic Committee of India (PCI) and flagged off by legendary athlete Milkha Singh — also had contingents of skaters, cyclists and NCC cadets.
The PCI, which plays an active role in the ‘Change Makers’ campaign of International Paralympic Committee –also held an Q&A session at the stadium.
