Dholpur bypoll won by Rajasthan government, not by BJP: Pilot People opted for growth over casteism and nepotism: Parnami
Celebrating the party’s win in the Dholpur assembly bypoll, state BJP president Ashok Parnami Thursday said, “In the constituency, people have opted for development over casteism and nepotism. BJP will now do more for development in Dholpur and the state.”
Addressing newspersons at the state party office, he said that BJP governments in the country are coming up with schemes focusing on villages, farmers and the poor, because of which people have blessed the party in elections held in several states. People have elected BJP for their honesty in implementing schemes, he added.
He said that in the last 50 years Dholpur had a Congress MLA but no development took place. Whatever development has taken place in Dholpur — hospital, roads and Chambal project — everything has been done by BJP. “We will make Rajasthan a developed state. The party will also win in 2018 assembly election under the leadership of Raje and our party will again form the government. In addition, BJP will also win the 2019 Lok Sabha polls,” he said.
Hitting at the Congress he said two days ago state Congress chief Sachin Pilot had said that Dholpur bypoll will decide whether development has taken place in three years.
